A LOVE LETTER TO FILM NOIR
As a teenager, I developed a fascination for American Film Noir. I relished sneaking out of bed to watch, in glorious black-and-white, humanity struggle in the dim, rain-soaked urban alleyways of America. These stories rarely had happy endings and were often resolved with a gun. "Dead Shot Bang" is a Noir Poem inspired by those wonderful films. Voice-over written by Naeim Khavari.

LOW GRAVITY TEST [0:45]
For Dead Shot Bang, I wanted to create a natural weightlessness effect. This meant using no green screen or wires.
I filmed actor/stuntman Craig Henry one cold morning. Here is the test footage.
The weightlessness effect seemed conclusive and we decided to go ahead with the short film.
